Have you ever been asked to describe yourself in three words or less? You know – while you’re sitting at some conference, or in a small group discussion when they do the ice-breaker exercise: “Tell us your name, why you’re here, and describe yourself in three words or less. Who wants to go first?”
I have a really hard time with the three-word part of it. A REALLY hard time. I sat down one night a few months ago, and decided to see how many words or phrases I could easily come up with that I (or others) have used to describe “Me.” I easily came up with well over 200, and the list continues to grow. It’s a good exercise in self-reflection if nothing else.
